Hace unos días recibimos una invitación que nos llenó el corazón de emoción y expectativa: Asistir a uno de los primeros viajes inaugurales del nuevo crucero Anthem of the Seas de Royal Caribbean, una experiencia única y nueva para nosotras; una aventura muy prometedora en medio del mar.
Once veces más grande que una ballena azul, más de tres veces el tamaño de la Estación Internacional Espacial, más largo que 5 aviones Boeing 747, con más habitaciones que el Waldorf Astoria y con la última tecnología de punta, este crucero es fuera de lo normal. Tiene capacidad para 4,919 ocupantes, mide 1,150 pies de largo y 136 de ancho. Para los amantes del buen comer hay más de 12 opciones de restaurantes con el acompañamiento de un excelente y muy amable equipo de servicio de 1,600 personas con una calidad humana excepcional. Estos días en medio del mar quedaron en nuestros corazones y lo mejor de todo, no vemos la hora de regresar a una de sus nuevas rutas y junto a él, descubrir nuevos destinos.
Como dice el dicho, una imagen vale más que mil palabras y por esto, quisimos seleccionar las mejores en donde podrán conocer un poco más sobre lo que vivimos en ésta experiencia en medio del mar.
A few days ago we received an amazing invitation by the Royal Caribbean team. We were invited to the inaugural sailing of their new ship: ANTHEM OF THE SEAS. A very excited adventure in the middle of the Atlantic Ocean we wanted to enjoy to the fullest.
Eleven times the size of a blue whale, more than three times the size of the International Space Station, longer than 5 Boeing 747, with more rooms than the Waldorf Astoria and powered with the latest technology, this cruise is out of the normal. It has capacity for 4,919 passengers, measures 1,150 feet long and 136 wide. For food lovers there are more than 12 dining options in different restaurants served by a very friendly service crew of approximately 1,600 people with exceptional human qualities.
These days at sea will stay forever in our hearts and best of all is that we can’t wait to come back to one of its new routes to discover new destinations and live a lifetime experience.

La vista era increíble antes de salir del puerto Cape Liberty de New Jersey. Todo el skyline de Manhattan en un atardecer de otoño como de ensueño nos acompañaba… luego cayó la noche y vivimos uno de los momentos más especiales del viaje: ver a Nueva York vestida de lentejuelas con el tema de “New York, New York” de Frank Sinatra de fondo para desearnos un buen viaje. Nos sentíamos como en una película!
The view before leaving port Cape Liberty in New Jersey was amazing All the skyline of Manhattan as an autumn sunset accompanied us like in a dream… then the night fell and we lived one of the most special moments of our trip: we saw New York like dressed in sequins with all of it’s lights and the theme “New York, New York ” by Frank Sinatra was the background of the enchanted scene to wish us a good trip. We felt like in a movie!
¡Listas para la diversión! Uno de los espacios que más esperábamos con emoción fueron los carritos chocones. Por eso, corrimos a montar en ellos hasta el cansancio. ¡Nada igual!
We were ready for fun! One of the attractions we were most excited about were the bumper cars. After the departure, we ran to ride them to death. Nothing like it! We relieved our childhood!
Era el segundo día, desayunamos delicioso en el comedor internacional y quisimos admirar el paisaje en la cubierta mientras contemplábamos el inmenso mar que nos rodeaba. Luego, aprovechamos para conocer los diferentes rincones del barco.
It was the second day. We had a delicious breakfast in the international dining room with a romantic blue view: The Ocean full of inmensity and peace. Then we headed to the main deck and terrace. We take the opportunity to get to know the different corners of the boat.
Una de las atracciones del Anthem Of The Seas es North Star, una cápsula que sube a más de 90 mts de altura sobre el nivel del mar.
One of the main attractions of Anthem Of The Seas is the so called North Star, a capsule that rises above 90 meters or 303 feet high above the sea level for once in a lifetime WOW.
Después de un delicioso almuerzo en Johnny Rockets tomamos un descanso en nuestra habitación. Nada más rico y relajante que sentarnos en el balcón para contemplar la vista a nuestro alrededor: El Océano Atlántico.
After a yummy yummy lunch at Johnny Rockets we took a break in our room’s balcony. The view was incredible so peaceful and quiet. Nothing better and relaxing to sit on to admire the view around: The Atlantic Ocean, read some books or just have a cup of wine.
Después hicimos un recorrido por el hall principal. Tomamos el algo y paseamos un rato por las tiendas y los diferentes espacios que había para relajarse.
Then we did a tour and walked by the promenade of the main hall. We had a coffee with macaroons in Starbucks and then we did some shops in the stores.
Luego de comer, era hora de divertirnos. Spectra’s Cabaret, una de las obra de teatro que se presentan en el Anthem Of The Seas y, que no tiene nada que envidiarles a las de Broadway, fue la elegida. También tuvimos tiempo para las compras de último minuto, y luego visitar la disco, Music Hall, y una pasadita por el Bionic Bar.
After dinner it was time to have fun. Spectra’s Cabaret, one of the musicals presented in the Anthem Of The Seas. It has nothing to envy to Broadway musical. Two thumbs up! We also had time for last minute shopping before hitting the dance floor on the Music Hall, and last but never least we went to the Bionic Bar.
No quisimos dejar pasar la oportunidad de probar nuestra suerte en el casino. Como dicen… de malas en el juego, de buenas en el amor 
We did not want to miss the chance to try our luck at the Casino Royal Slots and Tables. It has a little bit of Vegas and a little of Monaco.
Nos encantó el hecho de que en todo el crucero hay mensajes llenos de luz, inspiración, energía positiva y motivación. Este fue muy especial porque de cerca no se veían las letras pero en las fotos aparecían como por obra de arte: BELIEVE + LOVE + LIVE + DREAM+ INSPIRE.
We loved the fact that the cruise is full of inspiring messages full of light, positive energy and motivation. This was a very special one because when you stood upfront you just wee lights and colors but when you looked in the pictures it appeared as artwork: BELIEVE + LIVE + LOVE + DREAM +INSPIRE.
Fue una experiencia de la cual nos sentimos felices de hacer parte y además, de ser testigos de uno de sus primeros viajes. Dejó lleno de mágicos recuerdos nuestros corazones y fue una aventura que jamás olvidaremos. ¡A todo el equipo, muchas gracias por la compañía tan espectacular! ¡Gracias ROYAL CARIBBEAN una vez más por invitarnos a vivir espacios tan interesantes que se vuelven experiencias de vida! ¡Esperamos que les guste!
